Tachyon

The Tachyon processor architecture was designed for high performance execution of programs written in dynamic object oriented languages. Among its features are:

  • the microcode cache
  • internal multi-threading
  • object oriented memory system
  • hardware version of polymorphic inline cache
  • loop coprocessors
